Biography

Hambali Umar HAMBALI, is a Lecturer in the Department of Chemical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering and Technology (FET), University of Ilorin. He is currently the Managing Editor of Nigerian Journal of Technological Development, FET. He served as Department Exam Officer, level adviser and member several committees. He supervised some Bachelor and master’s degree students.

His research interests include development of industrial heterogeneous catalysts and adsorbents for application in the field of reforming, effluent treatment, Carbon dioxide capture, clean fuel and petrochemicals production. He has published several articles in high impact journals and presentation in conference, workshops and seminars. He is a reviewer for Elsevier and Springer. He clinched the Best Researcher Award 2020 during his PhD Study at University of Technology Malaysia. Hambali is a member of COREN, NSE, NSChE and other professional bodies within and outside Nigeria.
