Ishaq Alhassan MOHAMMED is Lecturer II in the Department of Chemical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering and Technology, University of Ilorin. He joined the University in 2017 as an Assistant Lecturer.
He has been undergraduate research project coordinator, level adviser to undergraduate students, and participated in the teaching of faculty-wide engineering courses. His research interests are in Reaction engineering and catalysis, involving the use of advanced materials and development of processes and products. Specific application areas of interests include energy processes, pharmaceuticals, and environmental applications. He has few years of industry experience as a Chemical engineer in FCC unit of petroleum refinery.
He has about seventeen publications in reputable journals. He is a PTDF-sponsored PhD scholar at the University of Sheffield, United Kingdom. He has been co-investigator on TETFund NRF projects. He is COREN registered engineer, and member of the Nigerian Society of Engineers and the Nigerian Society of Chemical Engineers.
